PHILADELPHIA – The University of Dayton women's soccer team's season came to a close in the Atlantic 10 Semifinal Thursday, Nov. 1 at the hands of No. 2-seeded La Salle University in overtime, 1-0, at McCarthy Stadium.

KEY MOMENTS
After 96 minutes of scoreless play, the Explorers got on the board first thanks to a set piece that snuck past the Flyer defense.
Though registering several scoring opportunities, including multiple dangerous chances in the final 10 minutes of action, Dayton was never able to break through La Salle's defense for the equalizer.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
The Flyers finished with a dominant advantage in overall shots (21 to 9) and shots on goal (12 to 2), but were shut out for the fifth time this season.
It was a tightly called contest, as Dayton finished the match with 19 fouls and La Salle 18.
