CHICAGO - The University of Dayton men's soccer team went on the road to Loyola Chicago and moved on to the Atlantic 10 Championship semifinals after advancing via penalty kicks.
The No. 6 seed Flyers (6-6-6) keep their postseason alive while the No. 3 seed Ramblers (8-2-5) recorded their first draw at home this season.
SCORING BREAKDOWN
29:43 – Loyola struck first with a goal in the 30

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- The Flyers and Ramblers matched each other with 14 shots apiece with Dayton putting six shots on target and the hosts putting nine on frame.
- Fouls were 14-7 in favor of the Ramblers and there were four cautions in the game, three from Dayton.
- UD entered the game as a top 10 team in the nation in corner kicks but only had one to Loyola's 10.
- Senior goalkeeper Dario Caetano had seven saves in the contest.
- Day and senior Kenji Mboma Dem both had four shots to lead the Flyers while Jabateh had three attempts.

"It was a tremendous game for us tonight," said head coach
Dennis Currier. "The team was relentless in its fight and determination. We had to battle the tough road atmosphere along with a very good opponent. We came up big in the crucial moments. We will celebrate this tonight and get focused tomorrow for the next game."
