DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's tennis team and head coach
Erica Echko has announced the signings of Haley Klein and Stela Vlaisavljevic to National Letters of Intent on Friday, Nov. 10.

"We are looking to build a strong team next year as we graduate two very important fifth-year seniors and captains," said Echko. "I expect Stela and Haley to fit in well with the team and contribute right away in singles and doubles. They both have a strong work ethic and I'm excited to see what they can accomplish in college tennis."
Klein is a Le Grange, Ky. native and will join Dayton as a multi-time All-Kentucky honoree. She's played five seasons of varsity tennis, finishing as a semi-finalist in the Kentucky State Championship in doubles twice in her career. Overall she qualified for the

"We are excited to add Haley to next year's team," said Echko. "She has a strong background in junior tournaments and was an all-state selection in Kentucky in high school tennis. Haley has had success in both singles and doubles, which will really help our team next year."

Vlaisavljevic comes to Dayton by way of Aurora, Ill. She has competed in a multitude of tournaments all over the country, building up a rank of No. 9 in the state of Illinois per the Tennis Recruiting Network. Vlaisavljevic also holds a rank of No. 441 in the USTA.

"We are happy to welcome Stela to our team," said Echko. "She is a very accomplished junior player from the Chicago area. Stela is an aggressive player that will transition well to the college game, and I expect her to immediately contribute in singles and doubles next season.
