LAST TIME OUT
Dayton suffered a 74-65 loss at home Saint Louis on Wednesday for the annual School Day game. The Flyers trailed early and were unable to catch up to the Billikens. Anyssa Jones had career highs with 20 points and 15 rebounds in the effort.

Saint Joseph's is coming off a 67-45 win over VCU at home Wednesday after holding the Rams to single digit points in the first and third quarters. Laura Ziegler led the Hawks with 22 points and 16 rebounds in the contest.

SERIES HISTORY
Dayton and Saint Joseph's have played 47 times previously with the Flyers holding a 36-11 series advantage. UD has won 10 in a row including last year's match-up at SJU 59-43. This will be the first meeting between the two teams at UD Arena since 2019.

STATISTICAL RANKINGS
As a team, Dayton ranks 25th in the country in rebounding and 34th in defensive rebounds per game. Individually, Mariah Perez is 22nd in the nation in offensive rebounds per game and 42nd in total rebounds.

WE'VE GOT AN AUDIENCE
On Feb. 8, 2023, the Flyers played in front of 11,635 fans at UD Arena while hosting Saint Louis. The record-breaking crowd was due to the overwhelming success of UD's annual School Day game, a chance for local school-aged children to take a field trip with the Flyers.

DOUBLING-UP
Senior Mariah Perez already has eight double-doubles this season, giving her nine for her career. She recorded double-digit points and rebounds in games against Northern Kentucky, Kentucky, Florida, Fairfield, Davidson, Duquesne, Loyola, and Saint Louis already this season. On top of that, she was one point shy of three more against Ohio, Fordham, and St. Bonaventure.
