DeLAND, Fla. - The University of Dayton softball team posted a one-hit shutout win over Fairleigh Dickinson in Saturday's first game of the Frank Griffin Classic. Sophomore
Haven Dwyer and freshman
Izzy Kemp combined for the win in the circle for the Flyers.
Dayton improved to 2-1 and FDU also moved to 2-1.

Alyssa Cacini tallied her first home run of the season which proved to be the game winner
8 - Cacini tallied a team-high eight putouts at first base
6 - Dayton put together six hits as two Flyer tallied multi-hit games
5 - Kemp recorded a game-high five strikeouts in three innings of relief
