DeLAND, Fla. - The University of Dayton softball team fell to host Stetson, 2-1, Saturday night in day two of the Frank Griffin Classic. Freshman pitcher Izzy Kemp recorded a career-high nine strikeouts after seven innings of work in her first collegiate start.

Dayton moves to 2-2 on the season while Stetson improves to 3-1.
