Eastern Kentucky (1-3) heads into this matchup coming off a tough matchup against Louisville where they took a one-sided, 6-1 loss. Playing at No.1 singles, Elena Tairian tallied the lone win on the day for the Colonels thanks to an opponent's retirement. Tairian has played as the No. 1 singles player all season, boasting a record of 3-1.
