PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The University of Dayton women's tennis team picked up a neutral-site victory over Atlantic 10 foe Saint Joseph's Sunday afternoon, topping the Hawks 4-0 at the Alpha Tennis & Fitness Center.
The Flyers got ahead early thanks to winning the doubles point. Freshman
Natalie Osiecki and sophomore
Neena Katauskas won 6-3 at No. 1, while
Erica Wojcikiewicz and
Jordan Mitchell won in convincing fashion at No. 3, 6-2.
Dayton carried the momentum over to the singles side, winning at No. 1, No. 2, No. 4 and No. 5 to clinch the A-10 win. Katauskas clinched the match for UD with a 6-3, 7-6(4) win at No. 2.
