Box Score CINCINNATI, Ohio - The University of Dayton men's tennis team struggled against Xavier University Friday night, falling to the Musketeers 4-0 at the Eastern Hills Indoor Tennis Club.
Xavier jumped ahead by earning the doubles point, though No. 1 duo
Connor Bruce and
Matt DeMarco won their match, 6-2.
Bruce won a marathon first set at No. 1 singles, and both
Eric Perkowski and
Erik Eliasson were leading when the Musketeers took victories at No. 2, No. 3 (by retirement) and No. 4 to clinch the match.
