RICHMOND, Ky. - The University of Dayton softball team splits its games Saturday at the Eastern Kentucky Colonel Classic. Ohio came from behind to best Dayton, 6-5, before UD downed Indiana State, 6-2, in the nightcap.
Dayton closed out the weekend with a 6-8 mark on the season. Ohio moved to 5-9 overall and Indiana State is now 5-6.

Emma Schutter went 3-for-4 at the plate with one run and one RBI, her second three-hit game this year

Quinn Pallardy knocked out her first career home run, a two-run shot that got Dayton on the board in the second inning

UP NEXT
Dayton is slated to play a single game at No. 17 Kentucky Wednesday, March 8. First pitch between the Flyers and Wildcats is set for 5 p.m. at UK's John Cropp Stadium in Lexington.
