RICHMOND, Ky. - The University of Dayton softball team splits its games Saturday at the Eastern Kentucky Colonel Classic. Ohio came from behind to best Dayton, 6-5, before UD downed Indiana State, 6-2, in the nightcap.

Dayton closed out the weekend with a 6-8 mark on the season. Ohio moved to 5-9 overall and Indiana State is now 5-6.

GAME ONE
Ohio 6, Dayton 5
7 - freshman Izzy Kemp tallied seven strikeouts in the circle, her fourth game this season with seven or more Ks
3 - sophomore Emma Schutter went 3-for-4 at the plate with one run and one RBI, her second three-hit game this year
HR - senior Quinn Pallardy knocked out her first career home run, a two-run shot that got Dayton on the board in the second inning

GAME TWO
Dayton 6, Indiana State 2
7.0 - sophomore Haven Dwyer worked her first complete game of the season
3 - senior Nicolette Papavasiliou tallied a career-high three RBI in the contest
2 - senior Emily Daniel went 2-for-3 at the plate with one run and one RBI
SB - four Flyers recorded a stolen base in the game
Winning Pitcher: Dwyer (4-1), Losing Pitcher: Benko (2-1)
