OLEAN, N.Y. - In a rare midweek Atlantic 10 two-game series, University of Dayton softball swept St. Bonaventure Wednesday in western New York. The Flyer claimed a 7-3 win in game one and routed the Bonnies, 23-0 (5 inn.), in the nightcap.

Dayton, winners of eight of its last nine games, improves to 23-13 overall and 9-2 in A-10 standings while St. Bonaventure moves to 8-23-1 on the season and 3-11 in league action.

GAME ONE
Dayton 7, St. Bonaventure 3
8 - freshman Izzy Kemp tallied eight strikeouts in the circle for the Flyers
3 - senior Emily Daniel was a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate, one of five Flyer with a multi-hit game
SB - sophomore Emma Schutter collected two stolen bases to bring her season total to 24
Winning Pitcher: Kemp (9-5), Losing Pitcher: Phelan (7-14)

GAME TWO
Dayton 23, St. Bonaventure 0 (5 inn.)
5 - senior Kaelene Walter tallied a career-high five RBI with a grand slam and a solo home run
4 - Daniel was 3-for-4 at the plate, one of three Flyers with four at-bats on the game, and scored four runs
3 - six Flyers recorded three hits in the game including graduate student Alyssa Cacini who was a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored
3B - freshman Madelyn Fricano batted her first career collegiate hit, a triple in the fourth inning
2B - sophomore Maddie Kapsimalis was one of four Flyers to record a double, her team-best 11th of the season

Dayton continues its seven-game road swing with an Atlantic 10 series at Rhode Island this weekend.
