WASHINGTON D.C. - The University of Dayton women's tennis team dropped another close Atlantic 10 match Saturday afternoon, falling to George Washington 4-3 at the Southeast Tennis and Learning Center.
UD got out the match lead thanks to another doubles victory, winning 6-1 at No. 1 behind strong play from
Natalie Osiecki and
Neena Katauskas, and then coming up with another convincing win at No. 2, a 6-2 final from
Elizabeth Hamilton and
Laura Greb.
The Colonials battled back on the singles side, taking wins at No. 1, 2 and 6, while the Flyers grabbed wins from Hamilton at No. 3 and
Erica Wojcikiewicz at No. 5. GW pulled out the victory with the clincher at No. 4.
