KINGSTON, R.I. - The University of Dayton softball team completed the Atlantic 10 series sweep of Rhode Island Sunday with a 7-3 win over the Rams. With the win, Dayton extended its winning streak to seven games and the Flyers sit atop A-10 standings with three weeks remaining in the regular season.
Dayton improved to 26-13 on the year and 12-2 in A-10 games while Rhode Island is now 16-23 overall and 6-8 in league action.

Emily Daniel had a stellar day on defense, collecting four putouts in left field, including two over her shoulders and one diving catch
3 - sophomore
Maddie Kapsimalis tallied three hits to lead the Flyers, her third three-hit game of the season
H - senior
Nicolette Papavasiliou extended her team-best and season-long hitting streak to 13 games
SB - along with scoring two runs, Daniel recorded her 22nd stolen base on the season
