NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The Atlantic 10 has released the 2023 Atlantic 10 Women's Tennis Championship bracket, with the University of Dayton earning the No. 11 seed.

The Flyers open the competition Thursday, April 27 against No. 6 Davidson at 11:30 a.m. at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla. The winner of the No. 6 vs. No. 11 match will then take on No. 3 Massachusetts Friday, April 28 at 11:30 a.m.

Dayton finished the regular season with an 8-12 overall record and a 2-4 mark in Atlantic 10 play. For the second consecutive season, UD had three different student-athletes finish with at least 10 singles victories.

Neena Katauskas led the way for the Flyers, winning 11 matches during the spring dual season at No. 2 singles. Freshman
Natalie Osiecki won 10 matches at No. 1 in her first season for the Flyers, while senior
Elizabeth Hamilton registered 10 wins playing at No. 3.

Erica Wojcikiewicz continued her climb up the career singles leaderboard this season. With her eight wins in the spring campaign, Wojcikiewicz is now 18th in program history with 29 career singles victories.

The Flyers take on a Davidson team that went 6-12 overall and 1-4 in the A-10 to earn the No. 6 seed.
Davidson was led in wins by Savanna Kollock, who had 11 wins in the spring with a 6-2 record at No. 5. Daniela Porges chipped in six total wins, winning five matches at No. 3 singles.
The doubles duo of Emma Helderscheit and Franny Shea won seven times on the season to lead the way for the Wildcats, while Kavya Patel and Daniela Porges collected nine total wins and went 6-5 at No. 1.Â
