Box Score ORLANDO, Fla. - In a match that began Thursday, April 27 and officially wrapped at 1 a.m. Friday morning, the No. 6-seeded University of Dayton men's tennis team battled through multiple weather delays to upset No. 3 Saint Louis, 4-1, in the Atlantic 10 quarterfinal at the USTA National Campus.

Georgi Mavrodiev clinched the match for the Flyers with a 6-3, 6-3 win at No. 6 singles, pushing the Flyers through to the A-10 semi-finals for the seventh straight season.

UD started the match with a win in doubles, as Ronit Hiryur and Matt DeMarco won at No. 1, 6-2, and Eric Perkowski and Mavrodiev took No. 3 by a 6-4 final.

Prior to Mavrodiev's clincher, senior Connor Bruce won at No. 1, 6-4, 6-2, and fellow senior DeMarco took No. 2 by a 6-3, 6-3 final.
