PHILADELPHIA - The University of Dayton softball team split its Atlantic 10 doubleheader at Saint Joseph's Saturday. UD claimed a 9-2 win in game one before falling to SJU, 4-1, in the nightcap. On the day, sophomore
Emma Schutter tallied seven hits, scored three runs, recorded three RBI and collected two stolen bases to lead the Flyer offense.
Dayton is now 33-15 on the season and 15-4 in A-10 games while Saint Joseph's moves to 16-28 overall and 7-14 in league action.
GAME ONE
Dayton 9, Saint Joseph's 2
12 - as a team, the Flyers recorded 12 hits for the second-consecutive game. It was also the 11th time in the last 13 games Dayton tallied double-digit hits in a game

Izzy Kemp worked her ninth complete game of the season
4 - Schutter equaled her career high with four hits; she also scored three runs and tallied two RBI

Kara Gunter was the second Flyer with a multi-hit game, her third game this season with three hits

3 - Schutter was a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate
SB - Schutter tallied her 29th stolen base of the season and is just five away from tying the single-season program record of 34 held by Molly Meyer (2010)
