CHICAGO - The University of Dayton softball team dropped two Atlantic 10 Conference games at Loyola Chicago on Saturday. The Ramblers held on for the 3-1 win in game one and came from behind to take the nightcap, 2-1.
Dayton heads into the last day of the regular season with a 33-17 mark on the year and a 15-6 record in league games while Loyola is now 23-21 overall and 17-6 in A-10 action.
GAME ONE
Loyola 3, Dayton 1
6.0 - freshman
Izzy Kemp worked a complete game in the circle for the Flyers, her 10th complete game of the season
2B - senior
Quinn Pallardy batted her career-high seventh double of the season while sophomore
Chloe Wong also set a new career high with her sixth 2B of the year
19 - with her walk in the sixth inning, sophomore
Emma Schutter extended her team-best reached-base streak to 19 games

Loyola 2, Dayton 1
H - seven different Flyers recorded a hit, including
Nicolette Papavasiliou who batted two hits - her seventh multi-hit game of the season
RBI - Papavasiliou tallied her career-high 28th RBI of the season after doubling in sophomore
Maddie Kapsimalis in the first inning
