CHICAGO - The University of Dayton softball team dropped a 2-0 decision at Loyola Chicago Sunday in the final game of the 2023 regular season. The Ramblers scored two in the bottom of the sixth to secure the win.
The Flyers have earned the No. 3 seed in next weekend's Atlantic 10 Championship which will mark the program's 10th-consecutive appearance in the post-season tournament.
Dayton closes out the regular season with a 33-18 overall record and a 15-7 mark in A-10 games while Loyola is now 24-21 on the season and 18-6 in league contests.
