DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's basketball team announced its non-conference schedule for the upcoming season.
UD faces an 11-game slate ahead of conference play starting in early November.
The Flyers will play four road games, four home games, and a neutral site tournament in Daytona Beach, Fla.
Dayton tips-off the season on Nov. 8 on the road at UConn, one of the preseason national title favorites going into 2023-24.
The Flyers then open up UD Arena on Nov. 12 against Lindenwood before traveling to in-state foe Ohio on Nov. 16.
Another pair of home games follow that road trip with Detroit (Nov. 18) and SIUE (Nov. 20) before the Thanksgiving break.
Dayton then heads to the Daytona Tournament to face Stetson and Wichita State on Nov. 24-25.
The Flyers return home to host Big Ten mainstay Purdue to kick-off the month of December on the 1
st.
UD follows that with another intrastate trip down to Miami (Ohio) on Dec. 9 before hosting Ohio Dominican on Dec. 17.
The Flyers finish up non-conference play on Dec. 20 at Vanderbilt in Nashville.
Second-year head coach
Tamika Williams-Jeter returns a veteran group with eight returning letterwinners and a talented group of four freshmen.
Game times will be announced at a later date, as well as the complete Atlantic 10 schedule. Dates and times are subject to change.
