DAYTON - The University of Dayton volleyball team opened the 2023 season with a straight-set win over No. 24 Western Kentucky Friday night at Frericks Center. The 3-0 (25-20, 25-22, 25-16) win over WKU was UD's first match of its 2023 Flyer Invitational.
Dayton improves to 1-0 on the season while WKU is now 1-1.

UP NEXT
Dayton is set to play two tomorrow on the second day of the Flyer Invitational. The Flyers will kick off the morning against the Bulldogs of Drake at 11 a.m. and will wrap up the weekend with a 6 p.m. matchup against 12th-ranked Marquette.
