DAYTON - The 21st-ranked University of Dayton volleyball team downed visiting Fordham, 3-0 (25-15, 25-12, 25-14), Friday evening at Frericks Center. Sophomore Taylor Russell was one off her career high with a match-high 16 kills.

Dayton improved to 14-2 in the season and 3-0 in Atlantic 10 matches while Fordham moves to 10-3 overall and 1-2 in league action.

KEY STATS
16 - Russell recorded 16 kills and was one away from a double-double with nine digs
8 - as a team, the Flyers served up eight aces, led by Russell with three, compared to the Rams' two team aces
7 & 4 - junior Alayna Yates was second on the team with seven kills and also collected a match-high four blocks
Fordham - the Rams were paced by Tatum Holderied with five kills and Whitney Woodrow with 12 assists
