The Flyers Look To Keep Their Winning Streak Going

DAYTON - The University of Dayton women's basketball team heads back out on the road to take on Saint Louis University Friday, Jan. 12 at 8 p.m. ET in Atlantic 10 action.

SCOUTING THE FLYERS
Dayton travels to Missouri with a 7-8 record on the year and 1-3 A-10 mark. The Flyers are coming off a big win over Loyola Chicago Saturday and will look to earn their second road win of the season, sitting at 1-5 away from home.

As a team, SLU is scoring 72.8 points each contest and allowing 75.4 points to opposing squads. The Billikens are shooting 42.4 percent from the floor, 31.8 percent from behind the arc, and 76.0 percent from the charity stripe. SLU benefits from a +2.5 rebounding margin, but is committing more turnovers.

The Billikens are led by A-10 Preseason All-Conference performer Kyla McMakin with 16.7 points per game while Peyton Kennedy is contributing 13.9 points and 4.9 rebounds per game and Brooklyn Gray is adding 11.6 points per game.

This will be the 50th meeting between the Flyers and Billikens with Dayton holding a 36-13 series advantage. SLU has won the last two match-ups including both contests last season.

LAST TIME OUT
Dayton held on to a 69-64 win over Loyola Chicago at home Saturday for the Flyers' first A-10 win of the year. UD shot 44.4 percent from three and had 22 points from both Ivy Wolf and Destiny Bohanon.

Saint Louis suffered a 57-69 loss at home to Saint Joseph's Tuesday. The Billikens were outscored 37-20 in the first half and allowed the Hawks to shoot 51.1 percent overall. Kyla McMakin led the effort with 16 points and seven rebounds.
