MIAMISBURG, Ohio - The University of Dayton men's tennis team improved to 2-1 on the season by taking down previously unbeaten Ball State in convincing fashion, 5-2, Saturday night at the South Regency Tennis Center.
UD jumped ahead right out of the gate, winning the doubles point thanks to their No. 2 and No. 3 pairings. Freshman

Eric Perkowski won at No. 2, 6-3, while fifth-year

Ronit Hiryur won 6-4 at No. 3.
Senior
Connor Bruce won handily at No. 1 singles, 6-3, 6-1, and DeMarco added a 6-4, 6-4 victory at No. 2. Zinder continued his strong start to the 2024 spring with a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 4, and junior
Davis Phillips came through with a victory at No. 6, 6-4, 6-7 (4), 11-9.
