DAYTON - The University of Dayton women's basketball team was able to secure the win on Sunday afternoon coming out with a 64-43 victory over St. Bonaventure in an Atlantic 10 Conference bout at UD Arena.
The Flyers (9-11, 3-6 A-10) got back on the winning track while the Bonnies (4-16, 1-9 A10) extended their losing streak.

st half – Dayton held St. Bonaventure to just 18 points in the first half, the third lowest total of the season for the Bonnies.
GAME BREAKDOWN
1st Quarter: Dayton 11, St. Bonaventure 9
- Junior Ivy Wolf got the Flyers on the board with a three at 7:47 mark.
- Wolf continued her hot shooting with a nice pull-up jumper to tie the game 5-5 at 6:38 mark.
- Out of the timeout, the Flyers got back-to-back buckets starting with a Destiny Bohanon three assisted by Wolf followed by a Nayo Lear steal and layup extending Flyers lead 10-5.
2nd Quarter: Dayton 24, St. Bonaventure 18
- Junior Arianna Smith got herself on the board with a nice offensive rebound put back putting Flyers up 13-9.
- Senior Anyssa Jones secured herself her first bucket with a nice driving layup to extend Flyers lead 15-9 at the 8:49 mark with the assist from Smith.
- Wolf continued her strong first half performance, knocking down her second three putting Flyers 18-9 at 7:48 mark with the assist coming again from Smith.
- It was Wolf again with a nice driving layup extending Flyers lead to 20-14
- Freshman Eve Fiala got herself her first bucket by drawing the and-one, extending Flyers 22-16 at the 4:13 mark.
- After some nice defensive possessions, Bohanon secured a nice offensive rebound put back 24-18 at 0:22 mark.
- Dayton closed out the half out-rebounding St. Bonaventure 20-12.
3rd Quarter: Dayton 44, St. Bonaventure 32
- After the Bonnies tied the game at 24 apiece, Bohanon got the Flyers on the board with a layup and a free throw putting Dayton back up 27-24.
- Wolf continued her hot shooting from beyond the arc by knocking down her third three pointer with the assist from Jones
- Graduate student Mariah Perez secured herself her first bucket with the offensive rebound put back extending Flyer 32-26
- Wolf continued to add to her scoring by drawing the foul and securing the and-one keeping the Flyers up 35-29 at 4:24 mark
- Sophomore Nayo Lear threw a nice beautiful baseline assist leading to an Arianna Smith and-one extending Flyer lead 38-29
- Smith continued her strong 3rd quarter performance by securing a layup putting Flyers up 40-29 at 2:36 mark
- Perez added to her scoring with a layup with the assist from Wolf keeping Flyers in front 42-31 at 2:00 mark
- Bohanon finished off the strong drive to the hoop with a layup keeping Dayton lead to double digits 44-32 at 0:55 mark
- Flyers outshot the Bonnies in the quarter shooting 66 percent from the floor compared to Bonnies 30%
4th Quarter: Dayton 64, St. Bonaventure 43
- After forcing a turnover, Jones got the Flyers on board by knocking down the corner three with the assist coming from Bohanon keeping Flyers in front 47-36
- Out of the timeout, Jones knocked down two free throws to keep Dayton in front 51-37 at 4:41 mark
- Jones finished off the nice drive to the basket with a layup adding to Flyers lead 55-41 at 2:49 mark
- It was Jones again adding to her strong 4th quarter performance with a layup and also drawing the and-one
- Perez was able to cap off the Jones missed free throw to keep Flyers in front 61-43 at 1:19 mark
- Senior Taisiya Kozlova herself her first bucket with a dagger to finish off Dayton's final score 64 with the assist coming from Bohanon
