COACH'S COMMENTS
"Tonight there was some pressure on our back since we still had to qualify for the A-10's and we knew VCU was a really good team," said head coach Dennis Currier. "At one point in the season they were No. 13 and they are a very good soccer team. I thought we did a great job finishing our chances even though we were a bit sloppy tonight in terms of possession. Defensively though we got the clean sheet and the guys fought really hard. We got the three points for the conference."

UP NEXT
  • The Flyers finish up the regular season at home Saturday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. at Baujan Field against Saint Louis.
