Kyra Karfonta converted on the penalty to score the Flyers' lone goal of the match in the 51' while junior goalkeeper
Batoul Reda saved a Rams' penalty in the 84' to keep the clean sheet.
Dayton improves to 10-3 on the season and 4-1 in Atlantic 10 Conference play after winnings its fourth-consecutive league match. Rhode Island moves to 5-6-2 overall and 2-3-0 in A-10 play. The Flyers have now reached the double-digit wins mark for the fourth-consecutive season.
