MACON, Ga. - The University of Dayton softball team closed out its weekend at Mercer's Heart of Georgia Classic with a 5-1 win over Drexel Sunday. The game was called after five innings due to weather in the Macon area.
Dayton closes out opening weekend with a 4-1 mark. Drexel moves to 0-5.

UP NEXT
Dayton will have 10 days off from competition before returning to the field on the west coast. UD is set to travel to Northridge, California, to kick off a four-game swing that begins at CSUN on Wednesday, Feb. 21. First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT at Matador Diamond.
