MIAMISBURG, Ohio -Â The University of Dayton women's tennis team made it four wins in a row with a convincing 6-1 win over Northern Kentucky Friday afternoon at the South Regency Tennis Center.
The Flyers took the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3, both winning by scores of 6-2.
Elizabeth Hamilton and
Marra Bruce teamed up for the win at No. 2, while
Erica Wojcikiewicz and
Laura Greb got the victory at No. 3.
UD continued its roll in singles, winning five out of six matches. Bruce took the victory at No. 1, 6-2, 4-6, 6-4, and junior
Neena Katauskas got the win at No. 3, 6-1, 7-6 (3). Hamilton picked up the win at No. 4, 6-1, 6-4, while Wojcikiewicz pulled out a comeback victory at No. 5, 4-6, 6-0, 6-4. Greb also won in three, 6-1, 4-6, 6-4.
Dayton is back in action on Sunday, Feb. 25 when it plays host to Saint Francis (Pa.) in a 12:30 p.m. match at the South Regency Tennis Center
