MIAMISBURG, Ohio - The University of Dayton women's tennis team dropped another heartbreaker of a match, this time at the hands of Western Kentucky University, 4-3, on Saturday afternoon at the South Regency Tennis Center.
The Flyers got wins at No. 1 singles from freshman
Marra Bruce, who took down the Hilltoppers' No. 1, 6-3, 6-3. Fifth-year
Elizabeth Hamilton came through with a clutch win at No. 4, 7-6 (6), 6-2, and junior
Laura Greb continued her hot streak with a win at No. 6, 6-0, 6-3.
UD hits the road for a trip to Philadelphia next week, taking on Atlantic 10 foe Saint Joseph's while also playing Drexel.Â
