DAYTON - The University of Dayton softball team dropped its Atlantic 10 series finale with George Washington, 7-4, Sunday afternoon at UD Softball Stadium. Three Flyers posted multi-hit days but the Revolutionaries used late-game rallies to get past the Flyers.
Dayton closes out the weekend with a 13-11 overall record and an even 3-3 mark in league games while George Washington is now 17-13 on the season and 4-2 in A-10 games.
KEY STATS
SB - four different Flyers recorded a stolen base in the game including graduate student
Emily Daniel who leads the team with 17 on the season
10 - for the second-consecutive game and fifth time this season Dayton tallied double-digit hits with 10

Maddie Kapsimalis recorded three hits in the game, her third three-hit game and sixth over multi-hit game this season

UP NEXT
Dayton has two midweek, non-conference games scheduled for the coming week. On Tuesday, UD will head down to Lexington to square off against No. 23 Kentucky followed by a single game at Ohio State on Wednesday.
