LEXINGTON, Ky. - The University of Dayton softball team dropped a close 4-3 decision at
RV/RVKentucky Tuesday evening in a back-and-forth scoring affair at John Cropp Stadium. The Wildcats were able to take the lead for good with a two-run sixth inning and held on for the win.
Dayton moves to 13-12 on the season while Kentucky is now 21-11 overall.
