DAYTON - The University of Dayton softball team claimed a 7-4 10th-inning win over visiting Loyola Chicago Friday on the strength of junior
Maddie Kapsimalis' walk-off grand slam. The junior infielder from Glenview, Illinois, went 3-for-5 with seven RBI and two runs scored to lead the Flyers past the Ramblers in Atlantic 10 action.
Dayton improves to 14-13 overall and 4-3 in league games while Loyola moves to 14-16 on the season and 3-4 in conference action.

HR - Kapsimalis hit two home runs, the first to put the Flyers ahead 3-1 in the bottom of the sixth and the second to win the game in the bottom of the 10th
