DAYTON - The University of Dayton men's tennis team prepares to travel to O'Fallon Ill. to face Davidson and Saint Louis in a pair of Atlantic 10 matches this weekend at St. Clair Racquet Club.
UD will start the weekend playing Davidson at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, and finish the weekend playing St. Louis at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 10.
The Flyers are currently 11-6 on the spring campaign after defeating Lipscomb last weekend with a 4-3 win. Freshman Kyle McNally has won nine straight matches, playing primarily at No. 3 singles, and has improved his overall record for his rookie campaign to 17-3.
Dayton and Davidson square off for the third consecutive regular season, with the teams splitting the matches over the previous two seasons. The Wildcats are heading into this weekend's match with a 4-2 record this season.
UD has a nine-match winning streak against SLU after last year's 4-1 win at the Atlantic 10 Conference Championship. The Billikens are 5-5 on the season and host Davidson on Friday night.Â
