ORLANDO, Fla. – The University of Dayton men's tennis team pulled off a clean sweep upset of No. 2 seeded Richmond on Saturday morning in the Atlantic 10 semifinal at the USTA National Campus, defeating the Spiders 4-0 to advance to the A-10 Championship.
 
The Flyers take on No. 1 seed VCU on Sunday, April 28 at 10 a.m. It marks the third consecutive season that UD and the Rams will play for the A-10 title.
 
Dayton was able to jump ahead with a doubles win, as fifth-years Connor Bruce and Matt DeMarco won at No. 1 (6-3) and fifth-year Nikola Purica and freshman Eric Suk clinched the point at No. 3 (6-4).
 
The Flyer freshmen carried the weight for UD in singles, as the trio of Kyle McNally, Mikkel Zinder and Luis Saraiva secured the win for Dayton. Zinder took care of business with a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 4, and Saraiva won at No. 5, 6-3, 6-4. McNally clinched the match for the Flyers with a 6-4, 6-4 win at No. 3.
