AMHERST, Mass. - The University of Dayton softball team closed out its three-game series at Massachusetts with a 6-5, eight-inning loss to the Minutewomen Sunday afternoon. The Flyers claimed a 2-1 Atlantic 10 series win on the weekend after two wins at Sortino Field on Saturday.
Dayton moves to 18-14 on the season and 8-4 in A-10 games while Massachusetts is now 11-23 overall and 7-5 in league action.

UP NEXT
Dayton will return home Wednesday for two games against Akron. First pitch of the doubleheader between the Flyers and Zips is set for 2 p.m. April 10 at UD Softball Stadium and admission is free.
