BRONX, N.Y. - The top-seeded University of Dayton softball team used a seven-run fourth inning to put away #5 Massachusetts, 13-3 (5), Thursday at the 2024 Atlantic 10 Championship. With the win, Dayton advances to the semifinals and will face the winner of #2 Saint Louis/#3 Loyola Chicago Friday at noon.
The Championship is being held at Fordham's Bahoshy Field May 8-11.
Dayton improves to 31-19 on the season while Massachusetts moves to 19-34 overall.
