WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Atlantic 10 Conference announced its men's soccer preseason poll and teams ahead of the 2024 season.

Dayton was picked to finish third overall behind conference favorites VCU and second-place Saint Louis, who had five and four first-place votes respectively. The Flyers received three first-place votes, followed by Loyola Chicago in fourth with two votes. Fordham rounded out the top five in the poll.

On the preseason All-Conference teams, Dayton had a pair of midfielders selected in sophomore Miles Bonham and junior Joseph Melto Quiah. They made up two of the three student-athletes in the midfield and UD had the second-most players selected behind VCU.

The Flyers open up the regular season Thursday, Aug. 22 at home against Detroit Mercy at 7 p.m.
