ABOUT DAYTON
Dayton (5-2) earned its fourth shutout win of the season on Sunday, downing Louisville 1-0 in the Derby City. Junior
Jenna Hallbeck scored the game winner for the Flyers, her second goal of the season, in the fourth minute of the match. Senior
Noel Blain leads UD's offense with 13 points (3rd A-10, 25th NCAA) on the strength of 5 goals (t-2nd A-10, 29th NCAA) and three assists (6th A-10). In goal for Dayton, junior
Batoul Reda is the only Flyer to have played all 630 minutes (1st A-10, 17th NCAA) this season. She carries a 1.43 GAA and has collected 20 saves on the year.
SCOUTING WRIGHT STATE
Wright State (2-4) split its last two matches, both played at home, with a 3-0 win over Morehead State and a 2-1 loss in the final minute against Valparaiso. The Raiders have had five different goals scorers this season led by Olivia Stroud with two goals and two assists. Kiera Sarka has started all six games between the posts for WSU but has shared game time with Erin Baker. The keepers combine for a 2.67 GAA and are nearly even with 15 and 16 saves apiece respectively.
SERIES STUFF
Dayton Leads, 24-5-4
In a series that dates back to 1985, Dayton holds a commanding lead over Wright State and the Flyers have won the last two matchups against the Raiders. The pair last squared off Sept. 3, 2023 in Fairborn with UD claiming the 3-0 victory.
LAST TIME OUT
After netting a goal in the fourth minute of the match, Dayton was able to hold off Louisville Sunday night for the 1-0 win at UofL's Lynn Stadium. Junior
