CHICAGO - The University of Dayton women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision at Loyola Chicago Thursday night in both teams' Atlantic 10 opening match.
Dayton moves to 6-3-0 overall and 0-1-0 in A-10 games while Loyola Chicago is now 6-2-1 on the season and 1-0-0 in league action.

Dayton will open the home portion of its 2024 Atlantic 10 schedule with a Sunday matchup against visiting Richmond. The Flyers and Spiders are set to kickoff at 12 p.m. Sept. 22 at Baujan Field and admission is free. Prior to the match, Dayton will be recognizing four senior team members for Senior Day.
