Women's Soccer Shuts Out George Mason, Golz Tallies 100th Career Win

Flyers Have Won Two Straight and Five of Last Six

FAIRFAX, Va. - The University of Dayton women's soccer team posted its sixth shutout win of the season after downing George Mason 3-0 Thursday night. Three different Flyers scored in the win, the 100th career victory for head coach Eric Golz.

Dayton improves to 8-3-0 overall and 2-1-0 in Atlantic 10 action while George Mason is now 2-7-3 on the season and 0-2-1 in league matches.

KEY STATS
19 - as a team, the Flyers got off a total of 19 shots, seven on target, to the Patriots' six
8 - Dayton tallied eight corner kicks in the match compared to George Mason's two
3 - graduate student Diana Benigno recorded a match-high three shots, two on goal
G - three different Flyers scored in the game, including freshman Liv Grenda (6) who scored the game winner
