MIAMISBURG, Ohio - The University of Dayton women's tennis team had to alter its weekend of hosting the Flyer Invitational because of inclement weather in the area, playing just one day of the two-day event indoors at the South Regency Tennis Center.
The Flyers played host to Miami (Ohio), Northern Kentucky and Xavier for the event, but heavy rain forced the tournament indoors Friday and the storm knocked out power to the indoor facility on Saturday.
Freshman
Stela Vlaisavljevic led UD with a pair of wins, while fellow freshman
Haley Klein, juniors
Grace Murphy and
Natalie Osiecki, and senior
Laura Greb each picked up wins.
