FAIRBORN, Ohio – The No. 22-ranked University of Dayton volleyball team coasted to a sweep over cross-town foe Wright State on Friday night, 25-21, 25-18, 25-23 inside the McLin Gymnasium.
 
The Flyers improve to 3-0 on the season while handing the Raiders their first loss of the campaign in front of 1,096 fans, dropping them to 3-1.

.349 – team attack percentage for the Flyers on the night while holding WSU to a .183 mark
42 – assists for senior setter Alyssa Miller, her best of the 2024 season
16 – kills for redshirt senior Lexie Almodovar, who also hit an incredible .438 and added four total blocks

11 – kills for redshirt senior Brooke Smith, who also hit above .400 with a .409 mark and had three block assists
10 – total blocks for the Flyers, out-pacing the Raiders 10-2 on the night

6 – kills for junior Liana Sarkissian, who added three blocks, four digs and an ace
