FAIRBORN, Ohio – The No. 22-ranked University of Dayton volleyball team finished a perfect weekend at the Tru by Hilton Beavercreek Dayton Invitational on Sunday, sweeping UMBC 25-17, 25-22, 25-23 at the C.J. McLin Gymnasium.
Three Flyers were named to the All-Tournament team, with junior
Liana Sarkissian being named the tournament's Most Valuable Player. Redshirt senior outside hitter
Lexie Almodovar and senior setter
Alyssa Miller joined Sarkissian on the All-Tournament team.
Dayton improves to 5-0 on the season and has won its last four matches in straight sets.

The Flyers start the weekend with a pair of matches on Friday, Sept. 13 against Illinois at 2 p.m. ET and the host Hilltoppers at 8 p.m. ET.
