DAYTON - The University of Dayton women's basketball team returns home to host Saint Louis University Wednesday, Jan. 22 at 7 p.m. It will be a Red Out at UD Arena.
SCOUTING THE FLYERS
Dayton holds an overall record of 11-7 on the year and 5-2 Atlantic 10 mark. The Flyers are 9-2 at home this year and had a five-game winning streak prior to a loss at Fordham this past Saturday.
Head coach
Tamika Williams-Jeter is in her third season in charge of her hometown Flyers, coming over after a year at Wittenberg. She has assistant coaching stops at Kansas, Kentucky, Penn State, and Ohio State.
The Flyers are averaging 65.8 points per game and holding opponents to 61.5 points each outing. Dayton is shooting 41.7 percent overall, 32.5 percent from three point range, and 70.0 percent from the free throw line. UD benefits from a +3.2 rebounding margin as well.

Ivy Wolf with 17.7 points and 4.2 rebounds per game and
Arianna Smith with 10.9 points and 8.9 rebounds each outing. Graduate students
Rikki Harris and
Nicole Stephens bring a veteran presence at the point guard spot.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
SAINT LOUIS
Saint Louis comes to Ohio with a 7-12 on the season and 1-5 A-10 mark. The Billikens are 2-5 away from home this year and coming off a loss as well, 66-63 at home to Loyola Chicago.
Head coach Rebecca Tillett is in just her second season at SLU and already has an NCAA Tournament berth in her short tenure.
As a team, the Billikens are scoring 69.1 points each contest, but allowing 78.4 points to opposing squads. Saint Louis is averaging 39.0 percent from the floor, 25.4 percent from behind the arc, and 81.0 percent from the charity stripe.
SLU is led by the trio of Peyton Kennedy, Brooklyn Gray, and Kennedy Calhoun, who are averaging 14.3 ppg, 12.2 ppg, and 10.8 ppg respectively. Tierra Simon provides strength in the post with 10.5 rebounds per outing and has a team-high 19 blocks.
SERIES HISTORY
The Flyers and Billikens are meeting for the 52nd time in program history with Dayton holding a 36-15 series advantage. SLU has won the last four meetings however, dating back to 2023.
