MIAMISBURG, Ohio – The University of Dayton women's tennis team pulled out a 4-3 victory over Oakland on Friday evening at the South Regency Tennis Center.

The win improves the Flyers' record to 2-1 on the season.

UD started the match on the right foot, taking the doubles point thanks to convincing 6-3 victories at both No. 1 and No. 2. Junior
Natalie Osiecki and freshman
Stela Vlaisavljevic took the victory at the top doubles spot, while seniors
Neena Katauskas and
Laura Greb won at No. 2.

Dayton was led by Katauskas, Osiecki and Vlaisavljevic on the singles side as well. Osiecki was victorious at No. 1, 6-1, 6-4, while Katauskas pulled out a 6-2, 7-6 (2) win at No. 2. Vlaisavljevic also came away with a narrow victory at No. 4, 6-3, 7-6 (8).
