DAYTON - The University of Dayton women's basketball team returns home to host George Mason University Saturday, Feb. 1 at 1 p.m. at UD Arena.
SCOUTING THE FLYERS
Dayton heads into the weekend with a 13-8 record overall and 7-3 Atlantic 10 mark, sitting in fourth in the conference standings. The Flyers are 10-3 at home this season and 2-2 in their last four contests.
Head coach
Tamika Williams-Jeter is in her third season in charge of her hometown Flyers, coming over after a year at Wittenberg. She has assistant coaching stops at Kansas, Kentucky, Penn State, and Ohio State.
The Flyers are averaging 67.2 points per game and holding opponents to 63.3 points each outing. Dayton is shooting 42.9 percent overall, 32.5 percent from three point range, and 70.2 percent from the free throw line. UD benefits from a +3.3 rebounding margin.

Ivy Wolf with 17.2 points and 4.4 rebounds per game and
Arianna Smith with 12.3 points and 9.5 rebounds each contest.

George Mason is having a stellar season with an 18-3 record on the year and 8-2 Atlantic 10 mark. The Patriots are on a six-game winning streak and 8-1 away from home this season.
Head coach Vanessa Blair-Lewis is in her fourth year at GMU and 26th season overall.
As a team, GMU is scoring 75.1 points each outing and allowing just 56.4 points to opposing squads. The Patriots are averaging 43.1 percent from the field, 37.0 percent from behind the arc, and 71.5 percent from the charity stripe. Mason also has a +3.3 rebounding margin.
The Patriots are powered by the trio of Kennedy Harris (15.4 ppg), Zahirah Walton (14.5 ppg), and Paula Suarez (10.2 ppg). Nalani Kaysia is the top rebounder with 9.0 rebounds to go with 7.9 points each game.
SERIES HISTORY
The Flyers and Patriots are meeting for the 15th time in program history with Dayton holding a 10-4 series advantage. George Mason has won the last two match-ups including last year's game, 78-53, in Fairfax, Va.
