DAYTON - The University of Dayton football team will finish up the road stretch at Valparaiso University Saturday, Oct. 11 at 2 p.m. at Brown Field in northwest Indiana.Â
Dayton enters the contest with a 4-1 record overall, 2-0 Pioneer Football League mark, and a four-game winning streak.Â
Valpo returns home after a three-game road stint and sits at 1-4 on the season. The Beacons are 0-1 in PFL play and on a four-game losing skid.Â
SERIES HISTORY
Dayton and Valpo are meeting for the 35th time in program history with the Flyers holding a 29-5 series advantage. UD was victorious in last year's meeting at Welcome Stadium on Nov. 16, 26-14.Â
LAST OUTING
• Dayton jumped out to a 28-0 lead in the first half at Morehead State last Saturday before the Eagles stormed back and tied the game up in the third. The Flyers would get the last say though with the game-winning touchdown from
Mason Hackett with 1:46 left in the contest, ending 35-28.
• Valpo opened up PFL play on the road at Drake last weekend and suffered a 41-0 defeat to the Bulldogs. The Beacons only totaled 105 yards in the game and were 3-of-15 on third down conversions.Â

Gavin Lochow - Ranks third in all-purpose yards, second in receiving touchdowns (fifth nationally), and second in receptions per game.Â

Bryce Schondelmyer - Ranks third in completion percentage (19th nationally), third in completions per game, second in passing efficiency (seventh nationally), second in passing touchdowns (10th nationally), second in passing yards, and third in points responsible for per game (21st nationally).

Michael Mussari - Ranks first in punt returns (23rd nationally), first in receiving yards (18th nationally), and first in receiving yards per game (11th nationally).
