Women’s Soccer Dominates St. Bonaventure Sunday In 6-0 Victory

The Flyers Scored Early And Often To Move To 8-0 In A-10 Play

DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's soccer team powered its way to a 6-0 victory over St. Bonaventure Sunday afternoon at Baujan Field.
 
The result puts the Flyers at 11-3-2 overall and 8-0 in Atlantic 10 play while the Bonnies fall to 3-11-2, 0-8 in the A-10.
 
Dayton's first goal came in the fifth as Kyra Karfonta drove a corner kick to the far side of the box where Lauren Fields collected it and fired a shot to the for corner for the opening goal.

Liv Grenda doubled Dayton's lead in the 49th minute as she slotted home the rebounded shot by Caroline Schork.

Just three minutes later, Ky Hau-Golden did all the work herself to set up a deep shot from 24-yards out that dropped in to the far upper-90 corner for the Flyers' third goal of the game.

Olivia Baca made it four goals for the Flyers in the 66th minute off the assists from Emma Gianino and Lauryn Contini.

Dayton's fifth goal came at the hands of Emery Aschenbrener in the 75th minute.

Just a minute later, Molly Russell got on the scoresheet to make it 6-0.

1 – Lauren Fields' goal in the fifth minute was the first of her career for the redshirt sophomore.
1 – Emery Aschenbrener's goal in the 76th minute and Molly Russell's goal in the 77th minute were their first goals of the season as well.
