DAYTON – The University of Dayton volleyball team made a successful return to the Frericks Center with a four-set win over Fordham (25-13, 25-23, 27-29, 25-14).
The Flyers came out and dominated the first set. With nine tie scores and four lead changes, the Rams narrowed the second set. Fordham started hot in the third, taking a 16-7 lead. The Flyers forced the third frame into extra points but could not capture the win. The fourth was all Dayton, winning the match with a 25-14 final set score.
