RICHMOND, Ky. – The University of Dayton women's tennis fared well in Eastern Kentucky's D1 Showdown.

The Flyers faced players from Bucknell, Eastern Kentucky, Northern Kentucky and UNC Asheville, picking up 21 wins between singles and doubles action.

Baby Jordan went a perfect 6-0 with three wins in both singles and doubles.

I am thrilled with our results from this weekend's EKU tournament. This is the most success we have had in a fall tournament. We won 10 out of 12 matches in doubles and experimented with some new combinations," said head coach Erica Echko. "There were many super-breakers, and we won the majority of them in closely fought breakers. I'm very encouraged by these results and excited for this year's team level."
